The World's Closest Capital Cities

Like Question 25, this one should maybe have excluded (as well as the Vatican City, and Rome) Nicosia and Northern Nicosia, which are separated by the width of a wall.

Northern Nicosia is the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which is recognised only by Turkey.

Kinshasa and Brazzaville lie opposite each other, on either side of the Congo River. According to the Distance Calculator website, their centres are 5 miles (8 kilometres) apart as the crow flies. Across the river itself the distance is only about 2 miles (3.2 kilometres).
